This is my evaluation which I initially made on PowerPoint and then transferred over to Prezi.
Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that uses both whiteboards and slides. It's fun to explore ideas and create connections between them.
The end results are visually captivating presentations. Rather than boring slide by slide shows.
My media porfolio for AS, consisting of all regualr updates in the construction of a Magazine and other side projects.

FORTE Music Magazine FINAL
These images are my very final designs for my magazine. I am extremely proud of what I have constructed and I feel that they are an authentic representation of what you would likely see on store shelves next to other music magazines.
I have kept to my flat plans and design specifications as well as my responses from my survey analysis. The house style is consistent throughout and the features on each page are similar to the conventions of a real magazine. For example using cover lines, pull quotes, mastheads, a drop cap, slogo and standfirst - other features will be described in my Evaluation.
Overall I am tremendously satisfied with the outcome of all my work over the duration of this media project.

Forte - Front Cover - Drafts
To progress between each of these drafts, they were individually given feedback from my peers and they each provided additional improvements that I can do to amened the front cover.
Thus creating a better, more professional looking magazine that will be more authentic for readers.

Forte - Magazine Photoshoot
These are some of the photos that I captured using the Canon 600D which is a digital SLR camera.
After a couple of frames I decided to location because the lighting wasn't very good at the beginning and it made the photos come out quite dark which I didn't want.
As you can see the second lot of photos are much lighter and the colour of her hair is much more vibrant. I asked her to do different facial expressions because I knew that the Front Cover was going to be quite Pop/ Rock, therefore I messed her hair up to make her look that little bit more edgy.
When looking back and one of my previous posts where I discussed my Photoshoot/ design ideas I stated that I might use props. As you can see I used a guitar and a pair of headphones which I thought worked really well.

Photoshop Short Task - PopSplash Magazine Contents
Like with my front cover for PopSplash, this task was the same but to create a contents page for the same magazine.
As you can see this is a huge improvement from when I produced the college magazine contents page, I had learnt many more skills in Photoshop and also learnt about the features that you would typically see on a contents page, such as using cover lines for page numbers.
As shown below is the outcome of the contents page for the magazine that I created.

Photoshop Short Task - PopSplash Magazine Front Cover
The aim of this task was to re-establish my skills and increase my skills development journal within Photoshop and to make sure that I have an understanding of placement with it comes to magazine design convention.
As shown below is my final outcome of the magazine that I created, using my knowledge of skills in Photoshop to generate a realistic magazine cover with all the essential features you would typically see on a front cover.
